ATTORNEY PROFILES
RONALD BOA MILLER, JR.
Ronald "Ron" Miller grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He holds degrees from the University of Mobile, University of South Alabama and Birmingham School of Law.
Ron began his career serving others as a Registered Nurse. In nursing school, he was among the ranks of rare scholars who achieved a perfect scholastic grade average of 4.0. Upon completing nursing school, he worked as a critical care and ER Registered Nurse.
After years of working as an R.N., Ron attended law school. During law school, he served as President of his school’s chapter of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Ron also participated in numerous mock trial competitions. As a result of his dedication, he was selected to serve as lead counsel for his school’s trial team. As lead counsel, he successfully led his team to victory against other trial teams from throughout the United States. In addition to his academic and extracurricular responsibilities, Ron worked for the prestigious law firm of Heninger Garrison Davis, LLC, where he served as law clerk and lead medical consultant to the Honorable Stephen D. Heninger, Esq.
Following his graduation from law school, Ron returned to Mobile and worked for a large firm where he handled a wide variety of complex legal matters, most notably a mass tort settlement which resulted in millions of dollars in compensation for victims injured by a prescription drug. Thereafter, Ron established Miller Law Firm, LLC.
Because of his background and experience in healthcare, Ron is frequently called upon by other attorneys and law firms for assistance with medical issues. He has been involved in litigation against numerous large corporations, including: Merck & Co., Inc., Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly & Company, Baxter International, Inc., Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Wal-Mart, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Pfizer, Bayer, Ortho McNeil Pharmaceuticals, C.R. Bard, Davol Inc., Tyco International and U.S. Surgical.
Ron is married and has two children. When not practicing law, he devotes his free time as a mentor for underprivileged children. He also serves as a volunteer for children suffering from chronic medical conditions.
